Criteria
If you want me to design something for you, you need to give me some basic information to base it on, here are some of the basic criteria of a commission:
Specify what you want to use it for
Specify what exactly you want to use the Design for. A YouTube Banner maybe? A Profile Picture? Logo? That stuff, you know.
Give one or more design styles to base on
Don't just be like "Make me a Profile Picture with my Name pls", gimme some basic ideas of what style you want it in like retro, modern, organic, cartoony, complex, simple and stuff like that. You can also point out if you want one piece, like the font for example, look modern and sharp, and the background cartoony or something.
Share you're basic Ideas or a concept of how you want it
Nothing really complex, I don't want you to write a Ikea manual on how I should construct your design, just some basic thoughts of how you want it to be, like "I want the text to fill up a third of the Image so you can clearly read it" or "I want fire sparks coming from the upper left and lower down corners" or "I want it to have a fat outline"
Ideal: Give me some Graphics to use as reference piece
If you have any examples of what you want you can send me those to use as reference, I won't just copy/paste them but I'll do my best to resemble a similar style on the end product. You can also give me reference for each part of the design individually, like this as background reference, this as text reference and this one for special effects i.e.
